Now
I have a brag Merlin & I went to Texarkana---Saturday he
took winners Dog and Best of winners for 2 pts.----his first
points. Sunday he was doing his puppy stuff---the
judge kept waiting for him to settle down and move but he just
bounced around. That's O.K. he had a good time and
enjoyed showing.
Merlin
went WD 3 days and BOW 2 of the 3 time, in Shreveport April of
2008.

Colby
is very beautiful with a beautiful coat and receives much
attention and many compliments when I take him out into the
public. His gait is beautiful. We have taken 6
obedience classes so far, the last of which was the CGC.
On our last night I fell and broke my wrist, shattering the
radius in five places. I had surgery and had a metal
plate inserted the day before Colby and I were to be CGC/TDI
tested. I'm now waiting for the next testing date
locally when my cast will be off and I will be healed.

Colby
passed his Therapy Dog International test last week on March
2, and with flying colors I might add. He even passed
the second test in tandem with Heidi -- like two peas in a
pod. How good and cute they were. I am so glad
that he passed since he had proven himself to be a NATURAL
with the patients at the nursing home the one time that I took
him 6 months ago.
Thank you for
allowing me to purchase one of your dogs. He
definitely is a "show stopper" as we walk
anywhere. ALL of the people who we meet comment on how
beautiful he is and what beautiful eyes he has. It is
so good to be able to brag about him to someone who cares
and appreciates the compliments as much as I do.

Callie
continues to have such a sweet personality. She is,
for the most part, house-trained. She rings a little set
of wind chimes
which hangs off of the door knob to let us know that she wants
to go
outside. She is quite good at it and it was very easy to
train her to do
it. (She is very smart but we are biased!). She is
doing very well
walking on her leash .. she prances on her walks. We
walk or run with her
everyday for about 2 - 2 1/2 miles. Additionally, she
gets lots of ball
playing time with the kids. She is a very good
retriever!
She loves the kids first and foremost and she hates to see
them get on the
school bus. She has brought such joy to their lives (as
well as ours).
She LOVES people (and loves to jump on them) and is still very
trusting of
most dogs. She meets a lot of dogs on her walks and
seems to be
socializing well with them.
